He completed his Internship in 1990 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. West received his dermatology training from the University of California at San Diego. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Following residency, he completed his dermatopathology fellowship at Oklahoma University. Dr. West became certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1993 and renewed his certification in 2003. Dr. West does not practice general dermatology, preferring to concentrate on his dermatopathology practice and skin cancer surgery using the tissue-sparing Mohs technique. He accepts the referral of skin biopsy specimens and patients with proven cutaneous malignancies. He is married and has six children. |
