Dr. Catherine Marcum was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky and received an undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2000. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2005.
After finishing her internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Marcum completed a three year dermatology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Marcum worked for one year at a dermatology practice in Lakeland, Florida before returning to Kentucky and joining Dermatology Associates, PSC in 2010.
Dr. Marcum is a general dermatologist and sees patients of all ages. She has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, acne, and cosmetic dermatology.
