Dr. Loveless was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He attended college at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama studying chemistry and graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1996. He attended medical school at the University of South Alabama and graduated with his medical degree in 2000. This was followed by an internship in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Loveless conducted dermatology and clinical immunology research for 2 years at Johns Hopkins University investigating the role of various allergy markers and their role in dermatitis or skin inflammation. Dr. Loveless then completed a three year dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins University graduating in 2007. He is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Loveless subsequently worked for 2 years in general dermatology practice in Baltimore, Maryland prior to joining Dermatology Associates, PSC in 2009.
Dr. Loveless is a general dermatologist and sees patients of all ages. He has multifaceted interests including all aspects of general dermatology with special interests in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, acne and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Loveless is married to Dr. Meredith Loveless, who is a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist at the University of Louisville. They have three children.
